What we collect
We collect aggregate traffic statistics — pages viewed, approximate country, referring site, device type. We use this to decide which tools to compare next and whether our articles are useful. We do not ask for, or store, your name, email address or payment details.
Cookies and affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the destination site or its affiliate network may set a cookie so that a purchase can be attributed to us. That cookie is set by them, not by us, and is governed by their privacy policy. Typical durations range from 24 hours to 30 days depending on the network.
Third parties
This site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which processes request logs including IP addresses in order to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Our contact address is a Gmail mailbox operated by Google LLC (United States). If you write to us, Google processes that message. We do not add you to any list.
We run one analytics script on this site: Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which also serves this site.
Correction, 25 August 2026. This page previously said we ran no analytics at all. That was wrong, and it was wrong from the day this site launched. Cloudflare turns Web Analytics on by default for sites it serves, and injects the script when a browser loads the page. It does not appear in our source code, so we did not see it and we wrote that we had none without checking. We verified it on 25 August 2026 and corrected this page the same day. We are leaving this note here rather than quietly rewriting the sentence.
What it records: the country, the page path, the referring site, the device type and the browser, plus page load timings. Cloudflare states that it does not log query strings, so anything you typed into a search box before arriving here is not passed on. We do not receive your IP address, we cannot identify you, and we do not build a profile of you across visits. Cloudflare keeps this data for six months.
We run no advertising script and no other analytics. If we add one, we will name it here and date the change.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because we do not operate accounts and do not store contact details, in most cases we hold no personal data about you beyond aggregate statistics. If you believe otherwise, kkanzx@gmail.com.
